The RISE Youth Development Program is a transformative initiative designed to support and empower young people through intentional mentorship, leadership development, and career readiness. RISE provides no-cost services for youth participants, ensuring access to support during critical stages of development.

For young adults ages 18 and over, services offered through agency referrals for intensive case management and self-sufficiency support are provided on a fee-for-service basis. Across both stages, RISE meets participants where they are and helps them build pathways toward stability, growth, and long-term success.

Mentorship and Leadership Development
For youth ages 10 - 17

RISE focuses on building strong mentoring relationships and leadership skills during critical developmental years. Through consistent mentorship, community engagement, and individualized support, participants strengthen confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. This phase promotes academic success, positive decision-making, and personal growth, while addressing barriers that place youth at risk of disengagement.

Career Readiness and Workforce Preparation
For young adults ages 17 - 24

As participants mature, RISE shifts focus to career readiness and workforce preparation. Young adults receive guidance in goal setting, job readiness, professional skills development, and pathways to employment, education, or training. This phase equips participants with the tools and support needed to successfully transition into adulthood and long-term economic stability.

Holistic Support & Life Skills

RISE recognizes that growth does not happen in isolation. Participants receive support that addresses real-life challenges, including communication, conflict resolution, emotional wellness, and decision-making. By meeting young people where they are, the program helps them navigate obstacles while building the skills needed to thrive personally and socially.

Community Engagement & Positive Pathways

Through service projects, group activities, and community partnerships, participants learn the value of giving back and staying connected. RISE encourages civic awareness, accountability, and positive identity development while exposing youth to healthy environments, role models, and opportunities that reinforce purpose and belonging.
